With over 25 years of experience, I continue to strive for three things -- impactful, clean design for print and digital mediums; to interact effectively and positively with clients and colleagues to achieve the best possible result; and to never stop learning and growing.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, I have been passionate about art & design for as long as I can remember. Fresh out of high school, I found my way into a competitive apprenticeship (in design/print composition) at Melbourne's largest newspaper company, Fairfax. It was there that I cut my design teeth creating advertisements and layouts, while learning to work with clients (and how to keep them happy). I was promoted from an apprentice to graphic artist, and eventually to supervising artist, where I was responsible for a team of four other artists.
It was with some reluctance that I left my newspaper friends for greater horizons. After several years with Fairfax, I left to pursue a design role at a small boutique design studio, Lime Interactive. It was here, under the direction of an incredibly talented senior designer, that I refined my design skills and learned that there's always more to learn.
Since 2002, I have continued to run my own design studio, Catnip Design, which keeps me on my paws.
In 2009, I moved to the United States with my American husband where we had our two children (which, as any parent will tell you, gives you a whole new set of skills). During this time, I came aboard the national corporate headquarters of DISH -- the second-largest satellite TV company in the U.S. -- as a marketing specialist, which broadened my repertoire through the scope of marketing design. After departing DISH, I had the privilege of working with many renowned Colorado-based companies, such as Aimco, Teletech, I/O Designs, Harmony Design, and the groundbreaking national startup, Leafbuyer Technologies.
Having returned to my beloved city of Melbourne in September 2019, I began working with emerging telco Swoop in December that year, and I am immensely proud to be an integral part of their marketing team.

Cheers!
